Since 2007, we've been making elegant and sustainable clothing and lingerie. Brook There ™ garments are designed, cut, and sewn in America, sourcing a wide variety of organic and sustainable fabrics. Our designs focus on beautiful and long-lasting construction, soft and comfortable fits, organic cotton fabrics and real silk. Brook There ™ is known for organic cotton underwear, wireless bras, and low-impact production approaches. Based in Portland, Maine, designer Brook DeLorme has been making clothes since childhood. On her blog she writes about a variety of subjects, including language learning, web design, and social systems. She rarely writes about fashion. Our choice to use organic cotton as a primary fabric is both for environmental and health reasons. Conventional cotton production uses more insecticides than any other crop on the planet.
