Welcome to Brixton Windmill Brixton Windmill is London's last working windmill. It has stood for over 200 years in the heart of what is one of London's most diverse and vibrant communities. We partner with companies big and small, from Brixton Brewery to some of the local shops and cafes that serve our community of Brixton Hill. Standing alongside the windmill is our community centre which opened in 2020. It was designed by Brixton-based Squire & Partners, one of Britain’s leading architectural firms. You can hire out this beautiful eco-friendly and sustainable venue for your off-site meetings, team building events or just for a get-together. As part of your experience we can offer you the chance to help mill our organic wholemeal flour and then bake it into tasty bread and delicious cakes. When you hire our space, you will be supporting a charity and community business , that ploughs its surpluses from trading back into keeping our historic windmill open for tours, education and events that support, one of top 20% most deprived in the country.
