Since then over 1000 Rockets have been sold, and 2016 marks the 10th anniversary of the Rocket ... Time is right for a Rocket refresh. Here at Brimoto we are building on the success of a great product and, with the aid of Stuart Mills, are refining the original Rocket to suit more powerful and more modern engines, whilst keeping an eye on what makes this product so popular - great value, precise handling and fantastic performance in a head-turning, exoskeleton chassis. The new Rocket MKII is the result of extensive development utilising all the experience gained by MEV over the last 10 years. The all new Rocket is going to blast off very soon, probably quite literally, as the power plant of choice is the Toyota VVTLi producing 190 bhp as standard; the Ford 1.8 & 2.0 Zetec options will still be retained Alternative power plants such as Fords Ecoboost will also be accommodated, such is our flexibility with the Rocket MKII. We will also offer a Suzuki Hayabusa engine fitment as an option. Like our Rocket project, our website is currently being refreshed, with sectors still under construction.
