New York based, Berkeley-raised pianist Ethan Ostrow returns to California for a unique solo piano set of original music, fresh takes on jazz standards, and music that bends the confines of genres altogether. Having led a double-life as an actor for many years, Ethan understands the power of storytelling, and brings it to his music in every performance. He strives for an intense, lush sound, and demonstrates deep personal expression. Ethan has had the opportunity to headline and perform at some of the Bay Areas finest venues, including Yoshis, The UC Theater, The Fox Theater, The Freight & Salvage and more. Ethan frequently combines his love of music with his passion for cancer charity work, and is proud to have raised over $45,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through his "Concert for a Cure" series. Ethan will soon be releasing his upcoming album, The Path of Obscurity, a suite that explores elements of trauma and how it affects us. Our dream farm is nestled in a quiet valley in the shadow of Mount Monadanock. There are no super highways here or any malls. There are no traffic jams or big attractions. It's just a small city, in a small state, with pristine church spires and a few small colleges. The citizen groups here focus on creating parks and ball fields, covering large commercial concerns and maintaining a quality of life envied by cities around the nation. We have been ranked as one of the nations top ten cities in which to raise children. Our greatest claim to fame is the Guinness world record for the most carved and lit jack-o'-lanterns anywhere in the world at one time. Currently the count is ours at 29,982. Our children are our greatest source of pride. Raised in Keene New Hampshire they carry with them pride in a job well done, concern for each other, and a morality that is fast disappearing from our society. They are the seeds of hope that we scatter to the four winds. And they are the brightest stars in our universe. We are not a huge company focused on profit. We are just common people seeking a way to fund the children's college tuition's so they can carry out our dreams and spread the good news. Come with us and share in the products we have created. Take with you a part of our labors and loves.
