I received my M.Ed., from Queens College, taught Art for 34 years in Hicksville, and established Brainworks Plus in 2002. I am a Licensed Brain Gym® Consultant/Instructor, Sanctioned Bal-A-Vis-X® Instructor, Professional Staff Development Clinician, Gu Emily Eisen, M.Ed., Director of Brainworks Plus and The Long Island Bal-A-Vis-X Team. I am a Licensed Brain Gym® Consultant/Instructor, Sanctioned Bal-A-Vis-X® Instructor, Professional Staff Development Clinician, Guest Speaker, Certified Language of Mastery® Instructor, Total Immersion® Swim Coach, ChiWalking® Instructor, Kripalu Hatha Yoga Teacher, Fine Artist and Singer/Songwriter. I established the multi-generational Brain-Body Fitness Learning programs in 2002. I have worked with young children up to Senior Citizens for the past 17 years, helping them to learn, perform and enjoy their life by using the therapeutic programs I teach. When I am not working with my students, young and older, I love the outdoors, kayaking, hiking in the mountains, painting, singing, walking, gardening, and being with my grandson.
