Responding to these goals we have assembled a world-class team of developers who bring a unique mix of experience in Open Source development, building communities around technology solutions, understanding of the fundamental challenges underlying coordination of demand responsive transportation programs. Our team is lead by Brainfood's Chief Technology Officer, Ean Schuessler. Brainfood brings an extensive background in developing commercial solutions based on Open Source software. Founded in 1991, Brainfood has provided solutions for a wide variety of industries including: hospitality, quick service restaurant, entertainment, telecommunications, healthcare, technology, research and non-profit. Brainfood's approach to application implementation is that most business applications share methodologies with pre-existing software systems and that leveraging existing code is usually more efficient than rewriting it from scratch. As time passes, a progressively larger body of business processes and technical needs are being encoded into the global pool of available Free Software. We believe that following the development of these resources and building expertise in mapping them to client needs yields an ever more efficient technique to solve client problems as time goes on.
