Our Vision Statement: The blog at www.BoomerConnections.com is defined by our name. We envision this blog to be a location for the Baby Boomer population to connect, to converse, to tell our stories, to provide guidance to each other and to commiserate. We are starting by telling our own stories and hope that as time goes on, others join in the conversation until we have a true community online.   A Baby Boomer is defined as being born between 1946 and 1964. So the youngest of us is 50+. What a great ride it has been for our trendsetting, influential generation! Here at Boomer Connections, we feel the best is yet to come and we are dedicated to helping our tribe navigate and maximize the experience. Isn’t this what we were always about? Living life to the fullest. The 50+ years are full of both opportunities and challenges, defined by fewer responsibilities or more, depending on your situation. Children may be leaving the nest, but aging parents may require our attention. Many of us are approaching or in retirement, facing new lifestyles and different financial concerns, with many new choices to be made. All these changes bring up concerns, questions, the need to share.     Our Mission Statement:    BoomerConnections.com provides a meeting place online for the Baby Boomer demographic to:  • share life experiences and stories • engage and connect with each other and their community  • address challenges  • stay informed  • become invigorated and enthusiastic about the future...    using a tool that is both fun and easy to navigate. We empower Boomers to experience these years as the most enjoyable and rewarding of their lives.
