The American Association of Managed Care Nurses is a family of RNs, LPN/LVNs, NPs, MCSWs, LCSWs, and nursing students. Our members range from clinical nurses aspiring to transition into managed care nursing to nurses who have been working within the industry for decades. We provide you with the education and resources you need to stay current through our home study program, biannual conferences, and webinars. Our members receive major discounts on registration for our Spring Managed Care Forum in Orlando and Fall Managed Care Forum in Las Vegas along with complimentary webinars that offer NCPDs. We also have a Managed Care home study program that awards 18 NCPDs while familiarizing students with the full spectrum of the managed care industry. This course also prepares students to sit the Certified Managed Care Nurse/Professional Examination from ABMCN. The American Association of Managed Care Nurses was founded in 1994 by a concerned group of nurses because of an unmet need to provide educational and networking opportunities for nurses working throughout the managed care industry. AAMCN is a non-profit organization representing Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Licensed Practical Nurses. AAMCN seeks to offer those nurses the opportunity to become more successful, both in their workplace and their community, through interactive membership services, quality educational resources and unparalleled networking with other managed care nurses throughout the industry.
