BookLand Press is a fast-growing Canadian publishing company established in 2006 in Ontario. We publish exceptional Canadian books portraying literary excellence, the great values of our country, and our diverse Canadian society. Our interests range from contemporary poetry to fiction, creative non-fiction, and translations. Fresh, insightful, diverse, multicultural, Canadian - these are some of the words that describe the variety of books that BookLand Press publishes. We are particularly interested in literature that is different, exciting, and awakens us to angles of the world that we have not noticed before. BookLand Press is the only small publisher in Canada that publishes books in English, French, and various Aboriginal languages on ongoing basis. We also translate and publish English-language editions of award-winning Canadian French-language books to ensure that culturally significant Canadian titles are available in Canada's both official languages. We believe that books can be one of the most effective ways of sharing important topics for people of different languages and backgrounds.
