Blue Wave Basketball was founded in the Spring of 2011 by Steve Haines, Shawn Legassey and Dajuan Eubanks; three fathers that have a goal to teach kids in the Greater Portland area the proper way to learn the fundamentals of the game of basketball. Blue Wave Basketball year round programs focus on strengthening fundamentals, understanding the game, and instilling confidence in young athletes. In addition, Blue Wave Basketball teaches kids more than "how" to do a skill, but "why" they are doing a particular skill with a focus on the mastering of proper practice habits.
