Cyan creates worlds not yet imagined. Drawing on 30 years of experience, we continue to look for new ways to share intriguing and unexpected stories through video games. Our journey has had ups and downs, but we’re grateful to still be building the kinds of worlds our fans say they want to live in!
A tiny history:
- Cyan began in 1987 and released three whimsical kids games: The Manhole, Cosmic Osmo, and Spelunx.
- Next was Myst. Sales for Myst and its sequel, Riven, now exceed 15 million copies and Myst holds the honor of being the best-selling video game of the 20th century.
- Four more Myst sequels followed, and then Obduction - a “spiritual successor” to Myst - became Cyan's first game to leap into VR.
- In 2020 the definitive modern version of Myst was released for Oculus Quest, with PC and PCVR versions coming in 2021.
- Today, Cyan continues development on their latest title, Firmament, expected to release in late 2022.

CloudBlue is the commercial operating system of the IT channel: neutral infrastructure that automates how partners and software vendors transact, provision, bill and reconcile, together.
The channel runs the world's software, yet it still runs on re-keyed orders, month-end spreadsheets and invoices nobody fully trusts. Reconciliation takes weeks. Provisioning takes people. Margin leaks quietly between systems that were never built to talk to each other. Now AI is arriving in the catalogue, priced in tokens and outcomes. The channel doesn't need another marketplace. It needs an operating system.
What CloudBlue brings to the channel:
→ Accuracy: one accurate invoice across hardware, software, SaaS, IaaS and AI, with zero revenue leakage.
→ Automation: provisioning without the swivel chair. Orders are captured even when the vendor has no API, and automated when there is one.
→ Visibility: reconciliation, anomaly detection and margin visibility in near-real-time, not at month-end.
→ Neutrality: your customer stays your customer.
Neutral rails. No buy/sell. No inventory. We never stand between a partner and their customer, and we never will. The partner keeps the customer, the data and the renewal.
For more than 20 years, CloudBlue has operated commerce at scale, in production in 180+ countries, processing billions of dollars in software transactions.
Distributors, MSPs, resellers and software vendors: let's talk about automating the channel you already have.
