Blue Ocean was formed in 2012 by the founders and a number of former directors of Southern Cross Equities who identified a niche in the market. From inception their aim was to create an independent, Australian owned, client focused, full service advisory and securities & equities dealing firm. Blue Ocean’s point of difference lies in the ability to combine our ideas driven approach, with the execution capacity comparable to that of the major global stockbroking houses. We provide our services to a combination of wholesale and high net worth investors and corporate clients. Settlement and clearing services are provided through Pershing Securities Australia, whose parent company, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, is one of the world’s largest equity clearing focused banks.
