Blue Box was created in 1986 in the very heart of an industrial area specialized in the cooling business and quickly gained an important market share by offering innovative and highly efficient products, which have been patented and later replicated by other companies. In 2008 Blue Box opened the new 25.000 sqm facility in Cantarana di Cona (Venice) which host 230 employees and the headquarters. Blue Box sell its products through a wellstructured network of 150 dealers and sales partners and it is set in the first 5 Italian cooling player and 10th in Europe. The plant has an Eurovent Certificated Test Room for units noise and performance test. The sales network through which Blue Box chillers are sold is made of carefully selected distribution channels: this adds up to 150 between distributors, agents and sales partners. All of our distributors are regularly and accurately trained: they are provided updated technical and commercial information about the group and its products. In 2010 Blue Box became part of the Swegon AB Group: the two main aims of this acquisition are duplicating the turnover over the next 5 years and engineering the most efficient and powerful cooling machine ever conceived.
