Black Fodder Coffee is a specialty coffee company in River Forest, Illinois — a small town just west of Chicago with big opinions about coffee. We run a café, cater private events across Chicagoland, and teach hands-on espresso and pour-over classes. Every vertical is built around the same idea: coffee is a craft, and it deserves to be treated like one. Our café is anchored by a Slayer Steam espresso machine and a full hand-brew bar. We source from award-winning roasters, dial in every morning, and pour latte art on every drink — not because anyone asked, but because that's the standard. We're building toward roasting our own coffee in-house. We're family-owned and founder-operated. No corporate layers, no franchise playbook. Just a small team that genuinely gives a damn about what ends up in your cup.
