BIX.BG ensures fast, reliable traffic exchange between hundreds of companies in Sofia, Bulgaria, offering equal and transparent conditions for all members. Since its founding in 2009, BIX.BG has become one of the key factors in establishing Sofia as a strategic connectivity hub, serving Bulgaria, neighboring countries, the Middle East, and the South Caucasus. In 2010, alongside its existing Public Peering, BIX.BG launched a Multicast service, which quickly gained popularity and is now widely used by nearly all TV stations and cable operators. With a presence across more than 10 data centers in Sofia, BIX.BG operates a reliable EVPN/MPLS network based on deep-buffer hardware, with implemented QoS (Quality of Service), DDoS mitigation, loop prevention, advanced BGP blackholing, and more.
