Frustration at cheap goods that fall apart in weeks or months. Frustration at flimsy mats that hurt our joints, towels that bunch around our feet, slippery surfaces that cause dangerous and embarrassing falls. It didn’t seem right that we simply had to accept this. There had to be a better option. We started Big Raven to offer an alternative — ridiculously high-quality mats at honest prices that could handle years of daily use and abuse and still look like new. From top to bottom, our mats are thoughtfully designed and meticulously tested. The result: mats that are as functional as they are fashionable. An incredible journey It all started with a simple idea on a weekend yoga retreat to make the best mats possible and sell them at the best price possible. Two years later, Big Raven mats are being launched in all 50 states and several foreign countries. What started as a passion project has evolved into something truly special.
