Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton is a non-profit registered charity that provides mentoring opportunities for children with adult and teen volunteers. Volunteer for as little as one hour per week and make a difference in a child's life in one of our 7 different programs: Big Brother Big Sister - mentor a child 1 hours a week one on one in the community Group Recreation - mentor a child once a month at one of our monthly events In-school mentoring - mentor a school aged child for 1 hour a week in their school Homework Club - mentor a school aged child for 1 hour a week in a group after school Go Girls! or Game On! - mentor pre-teen boys or girls in a once a week group setting Adventure Canada Club - mentor newcomer youth for 1 hour a week in a group setting We provide all training and support required to be a successful mentor.
