Berglund Construction is celebrating 115 years in business. We are a family-owned and operated general contracting and nationally recognized restoration firm. Our employees vested interest in every project and every client is what makes our company successful. Berglund has restored many of the Midwest’s landmarks and historic buildings, including architecturally significant campuses such as the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. Berglund has received national recognition, including the Construction Excellence Award from the U.S. General Services Administration and the National Preservation Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. “As we look toward our second century in business, we’re excited by the promise of new opportunities,” Fred Berglund says. “We will maintain the same level of quality service that we have always had and continue to be a trusted adviser to our clients.”
