Benefeast's mission is to help the best charities and their supporters maximize their use of an interconnected world. Most nonprofits have a "hand-to-mouth" relationship with their supporters: they call, you give your credit card; they write a letter, you write a check; they email, and you paypal; they tweet, and you ... retweet? The medium changes, but the model is the same. Benefeast is not just a new medium, it's a new relationship. We provide applications that either give you something you want in return for a donation to your favorite charity, or help you raise money for your favorite charities in fun and easy ways without dipping into your piggy-bank. Take, for example, our Benefeast Bazaar application. Here, you can buy items just as you would on other market place sites. But on the Benefeast Bazaar, the money from each sale goes to an IRS-registered charity, rather than to a stranger. So why would you buy from one of those sites without checking the Benefeast Bazaar first? Or you could sell on the Benefeast Bazaar. Maybe you don't have the disposable income to donate hundreds of dollars to charity (or maybe you already do!). Instead, spend a couple hours, clear out your garage or closet, list items on the Bazaar, choose a benefiting nonprofit, and you can raise a couple hundred for charity rather than parting with a couple hundred.
