Deschutes Brewery is an independent craft brewer in Bend, Oregon, family and employee owned since 1988. Currently the 10th largest craft brewery in the country, Deschutes was founded on the guiding principles of true craftsmanship and ultimate quality, best known as a leader in hops and hop development, innovative India Pale Ales, award winning dark beers, and small-batch experimental and barrel-aged beers. Deschutes Brewery is crafted for community, committed to sustainable business practices and support of charitable organizations across the distribution footprint. In addition to Deschutes’ original public house downtown Bend, the brewery’s production facility is located 1 mile away along the banks of the Deschutes River with a Pub in Portland in the heart of the Pearl District. With distribution to all 50 states across the country, Deschutes can also be found in a handful of countries with export to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden and Canada.

We started back in 2006 with three guys in Bend, Oregon who shared one simple mindset; brew beer, drink beer, and have fun doing it. Since then our brewery has grown but we will always stay the same...Rough morning? Grab a beer. Powder day? The “gone skiing” sign goes up. Too hot to work? Mandatory company float. Founded by Greg Koch and Steve Wagner, we've come a long way since opening in San Diego County in 1996. Now the ninth-largest craft brewer in the U.S., we operate two production brewing facilities on both coasts, in Escondido, CA and Richmond, VA. Today, our beer is available in all 50 states and more than 40 different countries. But we don't just brew beer, we also take great pride serving it at our bistros and tap rooms!
