Established in 1906 on the undulating moorland above the town of Matlock, the eastern gateway to the Peak District National Park, our Club offers a challenging 18-hole par 70 course of just over 5,800 yards yellow tees with spectacular views across the Derwent Valley and unrivalled practice facilities, including a 10 bay covered and floodlit driving range.
Mount Pleasant is a little gem of a nine hole Course, with 18 different tees that is set in 70 acres of beautiful meadow and parkland. As a family managed concern, the Club combines a warm and friendly atmosphere with great service and the course has established a reputation for its excellent condition and presentation.
The award-winning Clubhouse is perfect for celebrations of all types and sizes including weddings, birthdays and anniversary parties.
Mount Pleasant is open to the public both on and off the course and you can find great in-house catering offering everything from homemade cakes to 3 course dinners, cooked and prepared in the kitchen.
Formed in 1992 the Club’s affairs are managed the Proprietors. A partnership that is guiding the Club to becoming one of the most reputable Clubs in the area.
The Business now boasts a superb Clubhouse, offering full catering, an event venue and corporate facilities
