Stage Stores/Bealls ceased operations in late 2020 and the brand was subsequently acquired by Bealls Inc. While Stage Stores/Bealls is no longer in business, the positive impact it had on communities across the country remains through its legacy associates and guests. With over 800 stores operating under the “Bealls”, “Goody’s ”, “Palais Royal”, “Peebles” and “Stage” trade names, the company believes that it has developed a unique retailing concept and niche in these markets by offering a broad range of nationally recognized brand name merchandise with a high level of customer service in convenient locations.
