Founded in 2007, The Bay Ridge 5th Avenue Business Improvement District (or "BID") was formed to promote commercial revitalization along 5th Avenue from 65th to 85th Streets by providing supplemental services and initiating capital improvements to make the neighborhood cleaner, safer and, therefore, more prosperous.
