The Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) is the Regional Science Fair for students from grades 7 to 12 in the Hamilton, Halton, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk regions of the province of Ontario. NEW THIS YEAR: 18 new $500 prizes for grades 7 to 12 students. This is in addition to over $140,000 in prizes including cash, scholarships, and trips to the national and international fairs, BASEF is one of the oldest and largest regional science fairs in Canada.
