The main purpose of Banebranchen is to strengthen the Danish railway and its players. We provide financial support to Railtech DTU whilst also continuously supporting other educational and research activities relevant to the business. The objective is to increase the interest for working within the rail sector. This is done through expanding the knowledge to our member companies, just as we work on extending the knowledge to the study programme Railway Technology and attracting students for student jobs, project work and technical seminars. Furthermore, we support railway technical field trips for students being trained within the railway area.
