BAKE 360 is a new business with a rich history. The Olsen family began creating this history when they emigrated from Norway in 1968 and established numerous bakeries throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Patrons enjoyed traditional Danish, Boller and the Princess Torte (marzipan) among other offerings that were difficult, if not impossible, to duplicate without knowledge of the Scandinavian culture. BAKE 360 seeks to reinvigorate the experience of old world tastes with a modern flare and an extension into other European countries. The name represents the creations and the variety of locales that are included in the product and service line. The umlaut above the "A" is not a translation; it is a logo that signifies the business heritage. BAKE 360 is owned and managed by Roy and Jennifer Olsen, a husband and wife team who bring distinctive and complementary talents. Roy served as the Pastry Chef at Snowbird Ski Resort, St. Regis at Deer Valley, and Thanksgiving Point. He has an established history of success and has received recognition for his work in culinary arts. Jennifer is a Corporate Training Consultant for a Fortune 500 company with a degree in Business Management from the University of Utah. Together, they bring a breadth of experience in culinary creations and sound business strategy that will delight their customers with consistency and creative products and services.
