Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority Information

Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) was established in 2015. BTEA’s scope of work includes all sectors related to national tourism affairs in the Kingdom: organize conventions and trade exhibitions in the Kingdom of Bahrain; attract international, regional and local conferences to be hosted in the Kingdom; establish, manage, promote and maintain the Authority’s conventions and exhibitions centers directly or through specialized companies or firms BTEA establishes solely or in partnership with others for the same purpose; grant licenses for conventions and trade exhibitions, supervise and assess them. The Tourism sector aims to attract prominent international events that engage large number of tourists and strengthen the position of Bahrain as an important tourism attraction on a regional and international level. BTEA also aspires to boost the Tourism sector’s contribution in the national economy, in line with the Bahrain Economic vision 2030 and toward achieving the goals of the Economic Development Board. For more information: www.btea.bh أنشئت هيئة البحرين للسياحة والمعارض بناء على المرسوم رقم (76) لعام 2015م ويشمل نطاق عمل هيئة البحرين للسياحة والمعارض الاختصاصات المتعلقة بشئون السياحة الوطني في المملكة، عبر تنظيم المؤتمرات والمعارض التجارية في مملكة البحرين وجذب وتشجيع عقد المؤتمرات الدولية والإقليمية والمحلية في المملكة، وإنشاء وإدارة وتسويق وصيانة مراكز للمؤتمرات والمعارض التابعة للهيئة سواء بنفسها أو من خلال الشركات المتخصصة أو ما تؤسسه من شركات بمفردها أو مع الغير لتحقيق أغراضها، ومنح التراخيص للمؤتمرات والمعارض التجارية والإشراف عليها وتقييمها. ويسعى قطاع السياحة إلى استقطاب الفعاليات العالمية الكبرى إلى المملكة، التي تجتذب أكبر قدر من السياح، والتعزيز من مكانة البحرين كمركز سياحي مهم على مستوى المنطقة والعالم. كما تهدف الهيئة لزيادة إسهام القطاع السياحي في اقتصاد المملكة ، بالتوافق مع الرؤية الوطنية لعام 2030 ولتحقيق أهداف مجلس التنمية الاقتصادية. للمزيد من المعلومات يرجى زيارة صفحتنا: www.btea.bh
