When we started in 1998, we had one mission: to bring the humble cake back to its glory days in world that was dominated by fancy French pastries. So we started a cake shop selling only one cake — a simple dark chocolate cake between layers of dark chocolate fudge. Real cake one could bite into, rich in taste yet moist and light; not just mouthfuls of mousse or cream. The perfect every day chocolate cake! Our Original All Chocolate Cake, the cake that started it all, is something you’ll find yourself craving for regularly and never tire of! We’ve since grown from a one cake shop into a group of boutiques, cafes and restaurants bearing our love for dark chocolate, both in Singapore and overseas. Built on the streets of Katong, our first store was a fresh pristine white with a simple wood counter, standing out from all the neighbourhood businesses and traditional shops. We have always prided ourselves on being contrarian — it is, after all, what brought us from one cake shop in Katong into a collection of gifting stores, cafes and restaurants bearing our love for dark chocolate both in Singapore and overseas. Today, we are Singapore’s Favourite Chocolate, a premium gifting brand specialising in dark chocolate, with beautiful packaging and the best and widest range of artisanal chocolate cakes, including of course the best selling Original All Chocolate Cake.
