It's easier than you think to achieve the perfect dress for your special occasion.. You might not think it, but the options are limitless...well, that's when you should call Awesome Alterations. I love to sew. I came from a long line of home and professional seamstresses. My grandmother taught me to sew on her treadle machine as I sat on her lap. I started my own clothing line when I was five making "Barbie" clothes and selling them to my friends. I soon moved to making clothes for myself and supplied me with beautiful garments all thru school. In 1972 I opened several boutiques in Mexico and made custom clothing for many Hollywood stars and clients. From there New York for a while then back to Mexico City where I held the position of Head Designer for Annabel. We were the third largest producer of women's wear. I just finished a job at Hastings College Theatre Dept. where I taught Costume Design and Construction.
