Alterations Limited Information

Alterations Express was started in 1991. Charlotte Hall has been sewing all of her life. She has had formal training in sewing and tailoring and had worked as a seamstress for many years but had a dream of managing an alterations business that offered a higher level of service and faster turnaround than was locally available. Alterations Express grew out of Charlottes idea. The original location was opened on South Holden Road in 1991. As our reputation grew we had many customers driving across Greensboro and we were continually being asked to open a location across town. In 1994 the Battleground location was opened in the shopping center where Outback Steakhouse is located. Within three years we had outgrown that space and moved to the current location on Battleground Ave. Alterations Express is built on a simple philosophy of quick, quality alterations. Most customers do not want to wait up to two weeks to have a garment altered so from the beginning our motto has been One Day Service is our Specialty. Charlotte continues to be the General Manager of Alterations Express and continues to insure the highest level of quality and service in the industry.
