OUR STORY In the journey of brand building, we are the architects. The Michelangelos, the Gaudis, the Gehrys. Equal parts science and art, we build beautifully intelligent foundations and frameworks for the iconic designs that define skylines. We build the brands that make the world go around. AVO is a Seattle-based consulting firm focused on behavioral economics, specializing in consumer and user behavior, for Fortune 1000-size companies. Established in 2009, we have created award-winning work for clients as diverse as Microsoft, Philips, Cascade Designs, and others. OUR VISION Our name, AVO, comes from the Latin phrase amor vincit omnia, meaning love conquers all. We look to apply our collective intelligence, passion, and focus to solving important problems. Our vision is to use our collective intelligence to create a long-lasting positive impact on the world, or as we say, “do good, better.” In the end, our story is not about our work but rather how we empower others to change the world. OUR TEAM Our team is comprised of thought leaders from some of the most prominent organizations, agencies, and academic institutions in the world. To enable our approach, we employ individuals with backgrounds in fields as diverse as marketing, product development, psychology, sociology, physics, and other multidisciplinary areas. METHODOLOGY In an era where everyone is an “expert,” we’ve separated ourselves from the pack. Our lens is focused on behavioral economics and neuroeconomics, leveraging insights and understandings from the behavioral and neurosciences to drive better business strategies. We place behavioral insights at the hub of our model. Our deep understanding of what drives human behavior provides the foundation for our work and extends to new strategies, marketing, and products.
