Page Ahead Children's Literacy Program Information

Guided by the fact that literacy is essential to lifelong success, Page Ahead provides new books and develops reading activities that empower at-risk children. Page Ahead engages both children and their families to make reading together a part of everyday life. Working with partners throughout Washington State to reach under-served children, Page Ahead helps to break down barriers to achievement, build self confidence, and foster an enduring love of reading. Our goal is to be a leader in the effort to eradicate illiteracy, strengthening kids and communities alike through equal access to quality reading materials.
