Avery Boardman has long been a fixture of the New York design scene, and was one of the earliest tenants of the famed D&D Building. We began our business as the first company to provide designers with custom sleep sofas that could be tailored to any style or taste. Nearly 50 years later, we're still told that no one does it better. Today our highly skilled frame makers and upholsterers are producing furniture for nearly every room in the house, from sofas and sectionals, chairs and ottomans, to storage beds and dining banquettes. Whether you find us in New York at the D&D or at the Mart in Chicago, you'll be greeted by a knowledgeable team who will help you ask all the right questions regarding cushion fills, arm heights, seat depth and more until we understand every subtlety of your client’s personal comfort.
