AVANTI is a compact, high-impact NGO that works to increase consciousness of, and eradicate extreme poverty in Ecuador through sustainable development projects. Areas Of Work: Education and Culture: Seeks to establish quality education for the social welfare of future generations, in order to provide key tools for intellectual development and improve the quality of life. The Education and Culture Program includes managing the Community Radio and Adult Literacy Program. Health and Provision of Basic Services: Seeks to meet the most urgent needs of its residents through regular medical brigades, provision of medicines and educational workshops on disease prevention, among others. Production and Agro-Business: Since agriculture is the economic base and main activity of most communities living in extreme poverty, AVANTI is developing and improving the agro-production system, and establishing more efficient systems of production and marketing. Eco-Tourism Community Program: Aiding the Pistishí community in accomplishing their dream of building the Devil's Nose Inn, utilizing natural resources in the area and decreasing the level of migration. --------------------------------------------------------------- AVANTI es una organizacíón no gubernamental (ONG) y sin fines de lucro que ayuda a comunidades que viven en extrema pobreza en Ecuador, mejorando la calidad de vida de sus habitants mediante proyectos integrals de desarrollo sustentable. Somos una ONG que focaliza el trabjo realizado para así causar un impacto de alto nivel y contribuir al desarrollo de manera eficiente. AVANTI fomenta y apoya iniciativas de inversion social, de responsabilidad social empresarial y el rol del liderazgo juvenil en el desarrollo del país; esto se realiza por medio de campañas de concientización y mediante sus programas de voluntariado y de jóvenes embarajadores a nivel nacional e internatcional.
