Australian Karate Academy in Brisbane has been teaching children and adults practical Karate since 1989. The AKA has separate Kindy, Kids, and Adult novice Karate programs, as well as specialist programs like ‘Kick-Ass Chicks’ and ‘Dirty Ol’ Fighters’. All programs and classes are taught in a friendly and positive training environment with experienced instructors. As well as producing State, National and International karate champions, the AKA has also invested heavily into a better understanding of the philosophy and history of Karate. We limit our class sizes for all programs and levels so you receive the best possible attention as you progress through the ranks. You can receive more personal attention in our separate novice classes that you just can’t get anywhere else in Brisbane. At our Coorparoo Dojo, you can train in a fully equipped full-time Martial Arts studio that boasts over 20 classes a week, 170 sqm of training space, plenty of kick shields and focus pads, separate male and female toilets and change rooms, showers, library, equipment shop, parent and student waiting area, and plenty of onsite parking.
