The team of enthusiastic people behind The Games Capital has been involved with the board game industry for a very long time... about 50 years in aggregate! Business principal, Phil Davies, has owned and operated games stores in Albury, Geelong and Canberra for almost 20 years. After visiting the Essen Game Fair in Germany in 2004, Phil became the guiding force behind the inaugural Australian Games Expo (now the Toy and Game Expo) with the aim of bringing a new era of board games to the Australian public. Glenn Doyle is the manager of The Games Capital and he's been helping customers for 18 years. Glenn travels to the Essen Game Fair in Germany every year to seek out the latest releases and keep right up to date with the games business. Glenn is also an active participant in the 'Magic: The Gathering' world, regularly organising events and tournaments. The Games Capital proudly boast one of the most experienced and helpful staff in the industry and we pride ourselves on having one of the biggest ranges in the country - truly justifying our new name - The Games Capital.
