Background - Attomarker is a British company which developed a technology for measuring multiple biomarkers in blood and saliva to provide a multi-dimensional health profile in 7-10 minutes. The data can be used by patients to make more informed decisions about their health, wellbeing and protection, and by healthcare professionals to determine a personalised patient healthcare pathway across multiple healthcare settings at the bedside, in the operating theatre, in the pharmacy and at home. It was founded in 2008, and spun out from Professor Andrew Shaw’s research group at the University of Exeter.
