Arkins was founded with the idea that quality clothing should be produced in a socially conscious manner. Our patternmakers, cutters and sewers help us achieve our goals and create our dreams. We couldn't do it without them, which is why we make sure they are always paid fairly for their impeccable work, have the ability to unionize, and are safe in their workplace. All of our production and development happens domestically and ethically. The farmers that harvest our fibers thrive in a pesticide free environment and the water runoff that goes back into the earth is pure and free of toxins. We're proud of our GOTS Certified Organic Cotton sources, Lebenskleidung and Organic Cotton Plus. When we're not working with organic cotton, we're saving excess fabric from landfills. We are passionate about working with upcycled materials, and we love working with companies who do their part to reduce waste and turn it into something beautiful. Our eco friendly source for deadstock fabric is Fabscrap. We care about every set of hands that touch our garments - from our farmers to you! We care about the impact we have on the environment, which is why we work with GOTS Certified Organic Cotton and repurpose excess fabric destined for landfills. We're glad you care too!
