Architects Without Borders Seattle volunteers collaborate with under-resourced communities to deliver ecologically sensitive, culturally appropriate, life-changing design. Founded in 2005 by a group of architects and designers in response to the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. The original founders realized there was a lack of access to services which could support design not just in response to disasters, but as a service for underserved communities.
