Aquasphere Information

Established in 1986. Aquasphere is a water garden design/installation company that owns a large aquatic nursery for clients. Simply put, we plant ponds. The nursery allows us to provide specimen plants for clients jobs and to be relatively independent when organizing installations. We grow many waterlilies and bog plants that are not readily available. All water gardens are set up with great attention placed on aesthetics and the longevity of the ecosystem. Unique installation techniques are part of our concept to create natural looking environments. Most water gardens are container gardens (although we have done many soil bottomed ponds), by using ornamental grasses and other bog plants to hide the lips of the containers, we add to the credibility of the feature. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of residential, corporate and public projects of all sizes. The scope of projects has ranged up to installing over a thousand waterlilies. I work on one project at a time and complete that pro we have been in business since 1986 doing most of our work in southern California. Consulting projects have taken our designs to Colorado, France, Germany, Mexico and the Hawiian Islands. Our uniqueness as a landscape business relates to our primary focus of plant design in the water with the ability to call upon the substantial resources of a company owned and managed aquatic nursery. Sophisticated horticultural practices are an integral part of the Aquasphere concept.
