Anderson Winery Information

We are one of the smaller wineries in Rutherglen, but we boast a large range of wines. We have 8 different grape varieties in our vineyard, which is only 8.3 hectares in size! Howard Anderson has over 50 years experience in the wine industry, including over 40 years making Sparkling wines. His daughter Christobelle studied winemaking in Adelaide and has worked in several wine regions in France. Howard and Christobelle now work together and make all of our wines on site, in small, hand made batches (most of our wines are just 3 or 4 barrels worth). We use modern knowledge combined with traditional methods such as dryland viticulture, hand harvesting, basket pressing, and the traditional Champagne technique entirely by hand.
