Anchors Aweigh Art Studio is an urban and contemporary art studio based in Wollongong, NSW. Due to COVID restrictions the studio is currently offering postal art packs and online workshops via the Online Student Zone. Onsite courses are cancelled until further notice. Please email the studio to arrange screen printing, mural or design services during this time. Anchors Aweigh Art Studio also offers screen printing, graphic design and mural / artwork services. Trina runs regular art workshops in a variety of mediums for kids and adults. The studio provides a large, functional and safe space for participants to experiment and learn in. The studio is a full functioning artists studio with professional screen printing equipment, a sound proof music room, indoor and outdoor spaces, professional washout bay, materials and an air conditioned main workshop room. Trina also teaches workshops at schools and for community groups all around Australia. Trina Collins, who works under the pseudonym Poncho Army, is an artist who isnt afraid to get some paint under her fingernails. Known for her detailed line work, precision cut stencils and signature splatter paint skies, she has appeared in numerous gallery shows, been a finalist in multiple art prizes and exhibited alongside many leading urban and contemporary artists including Banksy, Kid Zoom, ROA, Beastman, Vexta, Reg Mombassa and Mulga. In June 2012 ArtsHub named Poncho Army as one of the top ten street artists in Australia, that same year she won a 12 month residency at Wollongong City Gallery. Exploding into the art scene in 2013 with her critically acclaimed series Fight or Flight Trina began touring her exhibition, running art workshops, and opened Anchors Aweigh Art Studio.
