Since 1983, Altran has been providing quick turn-around of smaller quantities, as well as providing larger volume support at competitive prices. Altran Corporations worldwide headquarters moved into a new 17,000 square foot facility in Crystal Lake, IL, which is approximately 50 miles northwest of Chicago. Our facility is easily accessible from both O'Hare airport in Chicago and Mitchell airport in Milwaukee. Altran currently has very modern manufacturing capabilites in Crystal Lake, IL facility and Shenzhen, China facility. Since the prototyping and pre-production are done in Crystal Lake, IL, we can offer our customers quick turnaround on prototypes and lower volume pre-production requirements. We strive to provide the quickest turnaround possible, ranging from 2 days to 1 week on first article samples. Products that are made in our US facility usually have a slightly higher cost to them; but delivery time can be as short as 3 days. For high volume production, we have the ability to manufacture units in China. We have weekly shipments coming out of Shenzhen, China which enables us to provide some of the most competitive prices in the market place. Production in the off-shore facility is shipped to Altran, where we are able to ship out units to meet our customers requirements on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on their needs.
