Altibox Information

Altibox AS, a company within the Lyse group, provides a full line of telecom products and FTTH multiplay services to residential and business customers under the common brand Altibox. The services are distributed at present through over 40 Altibox partners in Norway and Denmark. The number of active FTTH customers rises rapidly, and surveys show that Altibox has the hands down most satisfied customers year after year. The platform, built by Altibox, is based on a fibre-optic broadband with near unlimited capacity and equal uploading and downloading speeds. It gives the possibility for full interaction from the customer’s point of view, and will tackle all the data, video and music that customers download and upload more of for each day. Each customer is deployed with a fibre-based 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, and information is carried on an IP-structure. Altibox has made large investments in developing infrastructure solutions and business concepts for multiplay services. Our regional partners (such as NTE AS, Lyse Fiber AS, Viken Fibernett AS, etc) are responsible for customer support services, customer billing, sales and marketing, network planning, installation, building and maintenance of the regional network.
