Altibase is an enterprise grade, high performance and relational database, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Singapore, New York, in the U.S.A. Altibase scales vertically and horizontally via auto-extend in-memory tables and sharding, respectively. The company was founded in 1999 and has offices in South Korea, United States, and China. Altibase went open source in February, 2018. Altibase is enterprise grade. Since 1999, Altibase has served over 650 enterprise clients including 9 Fortune Global 500 companies. Its major clients include Samsung, HP, AT&T, Hyundai, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, E*TRADE, Toshiba Medical and various world-renowned finance companies. Since 1999, Altibase has pioneered the in-memory database space.
