The AGSD-UK provides support and help for individuals and families affected by Glycogen Storage Disease. It does this by putting people in contact, providing information, issuing Newsletters and holding Conferences and Workshops. Glycogen Storage Disease (GSD) occurs when there is an absence or deficiency of an enzyme needed to produce or break down glycogen. GSD primarily affects the liver and/or muscles.
