Afya Intelligence turns health supply chain data into decisions that keep medicines on the shelf. We are a health technology company founded in Tanzania in 2021 by a pharmacist with 15+ years and over 1,000 facility visits across public and private supply chains. Our work sits where national systems and the private pharmacy market meet. What we run today • Afyalytics: AI analytics and forecasting for national supply chains that run on OpenLMIS, with a quantification module developed with inSupply Health. In Tanzania it is embedded in the national eLMIS and quantification process, supporting forecasting for 8,000+ public health facilities and USD 500M+ in annual commodity needs. • Dukadawa: a pharmacy operating platform for ADDOs, retail pharmacies and wholesalers, live in more than 100 pharmacies across 16 regions, with 100,000+ dispensing transactions a month on a shared catalogue of 5,000+ brands. • Data services: quantification, immunization data quality, M&E and market intelligence for ministries, donors and manufacturers. In 2025, our systems reached 3.4 million clients. Featured by WIPO Global Health (September 2026). Beyond Tanzania Tanzania is our reference deployment and Kenya is our next market. Because Afyalytics works at the OpenLMIS data layer, and our quantification methods follow national processes, the same approach is designed to transfer.
