AMT designs, manufactures and commissions microwave equipment for the thermal processing of liquids and semi-liquids. Our technology delivers microwave energy deep into flowing liquids at an industrial scale in a highly controllable way. We call this Microwave Volumetric Heating ™. The heart of the system is a unique treatment chamber developed by Dr Zadyraka which enables microwave energy to be delivered instantly and evenly into anything that can be pumped through a microwave transparent tube to a depth of about 42 mm, without the development of hot or cold spots. This contrasts with conventional thermal processes which rely on conduction and convection to transfer heat from hot surfaces, and is very different from conventional microwave systems used in microwave ovens where the diffuse energy will only penetrate to a depth of 3-4mm.
