Our hearty, seasonal menu—crafted from local ingredients—invites guests to gather, celebrate, and experience the vibrant spirit of Central Park and the energy of New York City. Originally designed by Calvert Vaux and built in 1870 to house the park’s sheep, Tavern on the Green has welcomed presidents, royalty, artists, and visitors from around the world since opening its doors as a restaurant in 1934.
