Active Explorers Information

Active Explorers Inc. is a licensed sports-integrated preschool center that provides early education and physical activity for children aged 3 to 5 years. We provide children with a comprehensive syllabus to encourage the development of five key pillars: Early Literacy, Early Numeracy, Science and Inquiry, Social Development and Physical Development. Our unique and child-centered program builds a strong foundation for children through a Reggio inspired approach to teaching/learning. We integrate gymnastics and physical activity into the program as a crucial point of a child's self-progression. Our program affords children the opportunity to have daily access to engaging and challenging apparatus/equipment and circuits that encourage and refine gross motor development, body/spatial awareness, locomotor skills, eye-hand coordination, balance, strength, flexibility and cooperation.
